Doe is looking for an Operations Manager to join a fast-growing DTC beauty brand. We focus on creating comfortable eye products that can be worn all day. We're expressive, fun, and convey this through every touchpoint we have with our customers. This is an opportunity for a hard-working individual that is detail-oriented, analytical, and wants to join a lean team in a fast-paced environment. This role will wear many hats as operations flow into every part of the business. You will oversee daily operational challenges as well as developing systems and processes to create operational efficiency across the business.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of Shopify, inventory management, order processing, fulfillment, and customer service
- Develop, review, analyze, modify, and implement processes, systems, policies, procedures, and documentation with a focus on optimizing performance across each department
- Source, evaluate, and implement new Shopify and other software applications, negotiating deals and contract terms
- Determine company’s strategic growth as part of the executive team
- Create efficiency systems to continuously improve the end-customer experience
- Monitor order processing, fulfillment, and customer service, troubleshooting issues, making decisions, and creating SOPs when faced with operational difficulties
- Manage customer service associates, providing day-to-day support, and ensuring efficiency, clear communication, brand voice, and customer satisfaction
- Develop and manage annual operations budgets, track invoices from suppliers, analyze costs, and report on gross margin goals and cost-savings opportunities
- Find opportunities for cost and time saving and time saving across all functions of the business
- Partner customer service with production and buying to creating a customer feedback loop that improves the product and customer experience
- Build and/or maintain operational dashboards and reporting suite to track, manage, and provide valuable insights on metrics and KPI, and ultimately, supporting execution against objectives and key results
- Upload and maintain Store inventory, product descriptions, and merchandising, ensuring accuracy and optimization
- Handle unforeseen ad-hoc operational issues as they come up
