About the Role:
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for the overall workflow, execution and management of all social media channels and development. They will cohesively manage our company image to achieve our marketing goals. As a social media manager, we expect this person to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends, and very comfortable being in front of the camera for content creation. They should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively. Ultimately, they should be able to handle our social media presence, ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and lead the creation of compelling content for Pinterest, Instagram feed, stories, Reels & TikTok
- Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions with unique ideas for content production.
- Monitor competitive activity and community platforms to identify trends and opportunities
- Work with the Customer Service team to quickly and politely respond to customer concerns across Instagram and all social platforms
- Optimize processes that help us connect with customers in a more profound and meaningful way.
- Scheduling out content on a daily/weekly basis to align with social media calendar, business goals and objectives, and writing captions in our brand voice.
- Strategic execution and publishing of all social content including testing of frequency, timing and content type optimization (visual content, hashtag keywords, use of emojis etc.) to keep improving social performance.
- Ability to plan ahead and be forward thinking about upcoming social media needs surrounding launches, seasonal efforts, or “national days” of celebration.
- Bi-monthly reporting per channel inclusive of engagement rates and follower counts with action items and learnings
- Head influencer outreach, identify and cultivate relationships with potential influencer partners
